Gokoins are the currency in which to buy most premium items on Goko, including expansions and other types of game currencies. Most games offer some type of objects you can earn and redeem within the game. Gokoins are for premium items or, in some games, you can buy items instead of earning them to save yourself some time.

You can change your avatar by clicking on it. From there, choose among various pre-made avatars. We will be expanding the avatar system to allow for more customization in the future.
Dominion is a deck-building card game in which the players compete to gather the most valuable deck of cards, defined by the total amount of Victory Points, representing Kingdoms.
As it is a deck-building card game, each player starts with an identical small deck of cards and builds it up buying more cards each turn. As cards are added every turn, a player's deck grows more powerful as the game progresses. The winner is the player who gains the most Victory Points. Currently we have the Base set, Intrigue, Seaside, Prosperity and some of Dark Ages online. Other expansions including, Guilds, Alchemy, Cornucopia and Hinterlands will launch later.

Both. You can either play single player with the computer, or multiplayer with others from the Meeting Room. Please note though that the current version of Dominion does not offer offline game play.
Dominion coins are one type of currency that you can use to purchase some in-game items. In the case of Dominion coins, you can use them to buy “Acts” and “Zaps” when you play in “Adventure” mode.
We usually suggest new players play with Serf Bot. If you are in the meeting room, and add a bot, you should be able to see their ratings. Lower ratings probably means easier.
You get both the coins and the Victory Tokens by winning in the "Adventures". You get the Victory Tokens by beating the "bosses" in the Adventures The "bosses" are the hard games in the Adventures.
Your rating is a measure of your skill at Dominion. All registered players are rated the same way, including bots. As you win games and the rating system gains more confidence in your ability, your rating will increase. Your rating, a number from 0 to 10,000, is shown in the Rating column of the leaderboard. A number in parentheses indicates the number of rating points you gained or lost in your last game. A "P" indicates that your rating is "provisional", i.e. the system does not yet have a good estimate of your ability. While you are provisional, you'll see your rating in the leaderboard, but nobody else will.
The leaderboard is sorted by rating so the higher your rating, the higher in you will be in the leaderboard. Your Rank is your position in the leaderboard, with #1 being the top position.
There are four tabs in the leaderboard window. The "Daily" leaderboard is the number of wins you have accumulated for that day. The other three leaderboards track your skill in "Casual Play", "Professional Play" and "Adventures". Whether a game is rated under "Casual Play" or "Professional" depends on what was selected when the game was created.
The system tries to be reasonably sure you deserve the rating before it awards it to you, so it may be low until you have played a sufficient number of games.
Ratings are adjusted based on what place you came in. It's about whether you came in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. in the game, not on how many victory points you won by. Ratings are also adjusted based on the ratings of your opponents. For example, beating a higher-rated opponent will help your rating much more than beating a lower-rated opponent. All registered players are rated the same way, including bots.
If you resign a game, it is treated as a loss. If you need to leave, you should resign the game, rather than simply abandoning it, which leaves your opponent waiting for you. We keep track of the number of times you unexpectedly quit and this is shown on your score card.
You can see your score card, as well as somebody else’s score card by clicking on the avatar icon in the meeting room, before you start a game.
The following information is in the score card:

At this time, we don’t have a training option. You can choose not to login, in which case your games will not count against your leaderboard score.

All The King's Men is a fast-paced grid game where you build up your castle and conquer your opponents by combining tiles with special powers. Send your knights into battle, fire your cannons at opponents, and unleash a dragon or two. This one is really addictive, so be prepared!
You combine power tiles on your game board to build up your offense and send against your opponents. The first one who either destroys the other castle or whose castle reaches 100 points wins! Keep track of who's ahead with live updates on how other players are progressing with their castles as well as watch all the troops in action on the heads-up display.
From famed game designer Reiner Knizia comes Forbidden City. Set in the Palace of the Emperor, you compete to build rooms using particular tiles while using your advisors special powers to gain advantage. If you like Carcassonne, you'll love Forbidden City!
To curry favor with the Emperor, you need to control as many rooms in the Forbidden City as you can. Each player receives a random tile in one of four colors. Use these tiles to build up rooms of that color while gaining more points for larger rooms. The player with the most advisors in a room when it is closed controls the room! Some Advisors have special powers, so be prepared for a few surprises!
